How long have you been here?
From the start! Chris Hughes claims that I threw a glass of champagne over him when we first met and not long after that I joined him in this exciting little venture, and 9 years later I’m still here!
What makes you stay?
I love this business! I love the cycle of creating and growing events and I love the energy and passion of the people I do it with.
What has been your proudest moment?
Winning best launch event for The Outdoors Show was pretty good and everything that made it the winner. Taste of London and Taste of Bath in 2008 were great moments too, just because they were such fabulous days out for our visitors.
What makes you laugh?
My husband, when he does silly things, my kids with the things they say and do (Rosie, 3 & Lewis, 1), Never Mind The Buzzcocks (I love Simon Anstiss), The Thick of It and Have I Got News for You.
How do you recharge your batteries?
Getting into the outdoors, preferably the North Downs, with the kids on the back of the bikes. It’s our new year’s resolution to do it at least once a month now the kids are more hardy!
What’s in your box?
A stone from the top of Ben Arthur picked up when I was about 10. It was my first mountain and I did it with my Dad. I was chuffed to pieces and so was he.
