Putting a face to the name.

In March 1965 my life became a lot more comfortable. For the previous 9 months I’d been locked into a series of constant battles – for comfort, nutrition and space.  Sharing your mother’s womb with a chap who looked just like you was fun but I was ready to be set free.

22 years on (’87) my twin brother was in a secure and rewarding job working for an aviation company. And being competitive, I figured it was probably time I should ‘knuckle down’ too. So, what did I do? I joined the exhibition industry.

Since then I’ve had a blast. I’ve worked in some diverse sectors (the best has to include lingerie and wine), moved from sales exec. to MD and worked for private and publicly quoted companies. Along the way I’ve made some great friends, met a gorgeous wife and on too many occasions I’ve burnt the candle at both ends.   But that’s what this business does for you! 

So here I am, into a new and wild journey with what has to be the maddest company of all – Brand Events. Amazing people, pioneering events and different thinking (who else would have ‘just f**king do it’ as one of their stated values). No two days are the same. Laughter and hard work are in equal measure and I’ve got fantastic products to work with. Brand Events – it’d be rude not to!
