In 2006 we launched our first international event, Taste of Dublin, in partnership with Synergy Project Management, a group of entrepreneurial individuals and the creators of ‘Seven-up Christmas on Ice’. This taught us that we could launch our events internationally by exporting the knowledge from the UK and save ourselves a lot of the pain of launching. So in 2007 we launched MPH, a forerunner of Top Gear Live, in South Africa with a team from JCRM Events. Having seen this work we were keen to do more as quickly as possible and discovered that finding the right partners was often the best way to do it.
In exploring the opportunities which existed for us internationally we embarked on a process of identifying Licence Partners as well as Joint Venture partners. Our experience since has shown that where we work together with our partners in Joint Venture businesses we achieve better results. We have therefore worked hard to find partners who share our passion for delivering superb events to our sponsors, exhibitors and visitors.
We have six international Joint Venture partners:
In addition we have 2 domestic license partners in Marketing Birmingham and Stripe who operate Taste of Birmingham and Taste of Edinburgh respectively.
