Organisers of this year’s Style in the City have announced that the three day fashion extravaganza – originally scheduled for April– will now take place in September.
Style in The City, London, the luxury consumer event which was created to bring the glamour of fashion week to the public next September has been postponed by 12 months to September 2010.

Over 18,000 Sydneysiders descended on Centennial Park March 12-15 to experience the world’s hottest food event, Taste of Sydney in its first year. Food lovers were out in force to embrace the new addition to Sydney’s thriving dining scene with visitor numbers exceeding expectations.
Sydney’s top chefs each served up three signature dishes over the four days with Berowra Waters Inn serving 2,100 chocolate tarts, Becasse making 5,500 wagu beef burgers, Restaurant Assiette dishing up 7,200 oysters, Balzac preparing 600kg of pork, Bird Cow Fish using over 120kgs in beef cheeks alongside other top restaurants Jonah’s at Whale Beach, Pilu at Freshwater, Longrain, Sailors Thai, Restaurant Balzac, Danks Street Depot, Flying Fish, Civic Dining, Ottoman Cuisine, Centennial Parklands Dining and Buon Ricordo.
Centennial Park Brazilian Fields were transformed for the event complete with 15 fully equipped kitchens which were carefully planned and constructed on site to mirror that of a commercial grade kitchen, a spectacle never seen before in Sydney.
The glamour food event boasted a number of features including a Taste Wine Theatre hosted by Gourmet Traveller Wine, James Squire Beer Masterclass and a chef’s table and kitchen hosted by Australian Gourmet Traveller. A ticketed VIP Emirates Lounge was popular at the event, with guests enjoying a private bar, complimentary drinks and live music in an exclusive seated area. Official charity partner Variety raised $6,016 over the course of the four days with donations from generous visitors.
Following such a successful launch event, plans are already underway for Taste of Sydney 2010 as diners look forward to another mouth-watering experience.
