SA motorists, thrilled at the prospect of seeing Top Gear icons, Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond perform live in SA later this month, can now ‘go further’ thanks to BP Ultimate which is offering a free trip to the UK to watch the team in action as they film the Top Gear BBC TV series.
The all expenses paid trip to the UK as guests of BP and Top Gear celebrates the fact that BP’s globally acclaimed performance fuel, BP Ultimate, will once again be powering all the cars at the MPH’09 show at the Coca Cola Dome in Johannesburg from January 29 to February 1.
The show wowed audiences in Gauteng for the past two years in a row and this year’s performance promises to be better than ever with new breathtaking stunts and driving sequences from some of the world’s best precision drivers as well as live versions of the Top Gear television show.
Tristao Abro, BP’s Brand and Insight’s Manager says, “There are so many motorists who are incredibly excited about seeing Clarkson and Hammond Live in SA. As BP we wanted to take it even further and offering a free trip to London for two is the ideal way to extend our association with the show.” MPH’09 features hair-raising stunts, exciting lighting and sound, and an amazing line up of exotic super cars from around the globe, all fuelled by BP Ultimate.
In addition there is a car expo at the show at which BP’s interactive stand will offer free downloads of MPH style stunts for mobile phones, live motoring trivia quizzes offering prizes and a BP Ultimate racing simulator and split-engine fuel demonstrations.
To win the prize trip to the UK, motorists need to SMS the answer to a competition hotline given on entry forms available at participating service stations throughout Gauteng. MPH’09 ticket prizes are also drawn weekly.
