Pioneering events company Brand Events announces today a major new venture to export its innovative event concepts around the world.
The city focused fashion and beauty event which Brand Events has successfully piloted in Birmingham and Dublin in 2008 has received considerable interest and support from retailers and sponsors however, given the current economic climate and the difficulties faced by retailers in the capital, Brand Events has taken the decision to delay the launch until September 2010.
The event has plans to become the first ever fashion week for consumers and use various high end venues across London as well as have top retailers in town as key anchor destinations offering exclusive events and experiences. It combines Catwalk Shows, Fashion Theatre, Beauty Experiences and pampering treats with in-store based Retail events.
The new dates will be confirmed to coincide with London Fashion Week’s autumn season. Event Director, Hannah Pike comments: “Style in the city is such a unique and exciting event concept that has been extremely well received by all prospective partners, therefore the event will relaunch in 2010 with a longer run into it”.
The Birmingham event will also be re-scheduled for the 24th-26th September 2009 to fall within the most critical fashion season and all participating retailers pledge their support for the new date agreeing with the better timing.
