Putting a face to the name.

I am currently the ‘baby’ of the Finance team. I graduated last year with an Economics and Finance degree with the intention to get into either Econometric Modeling or Investment Banking. Thank God it was so difficult to begin my Banking career, as I am now working for Brand Events and I absolutely love it! This is actually the first job I have stayed in for longer than a month! (Impressive, even if I do say so myself). This is mainly due to the fact that the company and people are amazing, the Finance team is fabulous and I can still work with numbers with a huge added chunk of fun. I wormed my way into Brand Events through the infamous Facebook and came on board to temporarily help the Finance department directly after Taste of London. As you can probably tell, I managed to cling on for dear life, and I’m still here.

I love, love, love to travel, my top three favourite places so far are Hawaii, Vegas and Marrakech. I enjoy learning about and experiencing diverse cultures and cuisines first hand. On that note, I love to eat, (or live to eat I think I should say) which is what I am doing right now as I am thinking of what more I can write about myself.

Likes include chocolate macadamia or mint choc chip ice cream, reading, spontaneous nights out, rollercoasters, the colour pink and big fluffy boot slippers to name a few. I despise traffic and people who drive slowly in the fast lane (sorry but if you’re going to drive what looks about 10 miles an hour, please switch lanes).

I am a shoe addict. I own nearly 300 pairs of high heels yet end up wearing the same 5 pairs of flat shoes on a regular basis. When I feel a little down, they do come in handy as I stick a pair of cute heels on, blast the music and dance around the house.
